NON-COMPETE Agreements

Contact Rambsy Law if you currently have a non-compete and need to understand the restrictions it places on you.

Non-Compete Agreements

Non-compete agreements restrict an employee from working at certain places and/or performing certain jobs.  Employees may sign non-compete agreements when they are working for at a job where they think they will have a long tenure.  But things can change.  An employee may resign or be fired.  But the non-compete agreement may prevent them from taking other jobs.

Before signing a non-compete agreement, you should have the agreement reviewed by an attorney.  Even if you have already signed a non-compete agreement, and you have resigned or have been fired, you will want to make sure to have the non-compete agreement reviewed very carefully.  It is possible that parts of the non-compete agreement may invalid.  Or, it may be possible to negotiate changes in the non-compete agreement.

Contact Rambsy Law if you currently have a non-compete and need to understand the restrictions it places on you.  Also contact Rambsy Law if you have been presented with a non-compete and want to know how signing it may impact your career. Rambsy Law is here to answering any questions that you may have about the complexities of a specific non-compete agreement, including any questions regarding the validity and scope of the agreement.
