The CARES (Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security) Act was passed by Congress and signed into law by President Trump on March 27, 2020. The CARES Act seeks to address the burdens caused by the public health and economic burdens of COVID19. The CARES ACT seeks to provide assistance to workers and small businesses, as well as protect jobs, as well as provide assistance for state and local governments.
